1. The Club has initiated a system of points to encourage members to attend Club drives, it is based upon the distance travelled from the departure in ORIHUELA to the destination. An up to date table of points for each member is displayed on the club website and prizes at the discretion of the committee will be awarded at the annual Club Dinner held in December. Any member unable to attend the Annual Dinner but who qualifies for a prize will still receive their prize.
Points are awarded on a basis of one point for every 25 kms in whole or part.
Examples:
0 – 25kms = 1 point
25 - 50kms = 2 points
50 – 75kms = 3 points
75 – 100kms = 4 points
and so forth thereafter.
2. The measurement is calculated from the point of departure in Orihuela to the destination at the concentracion according to maps and computer programs such as Michelín, Campsa,Guides etc. the qualifying distance is only that of the outward journey and does not include the return. It does not include the journey from your home to the point of departure in Orihuela or any travelling during any tour that is part of the concentracion. Eg. Any subsequent drive through the streets.
The Club Drive to Murcia will merit 1 point although the actual distance marginally exceeds 25kms.
3. Points will only be awarded for events that are organised by the
Club.
4. Members must be using their classic cars to qualify for
points.
5. The car must be driven and not trailered to the event otherwise the points are reduced by half.
6. The Club President is disqualified from receiving any points as the
office of President obliges him to attend as many concentracions as possible.
